Which button did you select in the Import Songs dialog ?
1) Index Song Files or 2) Scan now ? Can you capture a screen shot of how you have your define field order set up and attach it to your post ? Are all your files in a single folder or multiple folders ? if in multiple folders are they by Brand, DiscId or some other order ?
