I to have seen this happen on one of My XP PRO systems, what caused it was that when I used up all the IRQ's (Hardware Boards use these) it gave me this same crash. This was one of my home systems tha didn't have Microstudio installed on it. The problem was that I had to many hardware boards installed using the same IRQ's. This is not a problem that Microstudio can cause. The only tie to the sytstem files that we use is the ASPI drivers. Please double check all your Hardware boards that are installed in the computer, and try contacting Microsoft or another computer Tech about this problem. Microsoft may be your best bet, since this error is there's.

Does it say anything about causing and ivalid page fault in Microstudio.exe? If not, then it is not relating to the Microstudio program.
