I want to combine all songs in one database for Hoster to play. So here's the question What would be the best way to bulid a database so that I don't lose any songs because of bookid overlapping? I'm guessing start with the KMA because thier book id is already set from what i understand. So how should I go about importing the rest? what order would you recommend? I don't mind if hoster blocks out the duplicates as long as they are true duplicates and not other songs.
I am not quite sure what exactly you are asking. If you already have your CDG's imported (sounds like it) then they should already be in the database. Then all you need to do is import the MP3+G and ZIP files. Hoster will not allow duplicate BookIDs. Order doesn't make any difference.Hoster will only block a duplicate if the DiskIDs are in the title of the MP3+G or ZIP and it is a duplicate of one already imported.
If you have an older version of Hoster then importing those file types will create a KMA file in the same folder with your CDG imports. If you have the latest (4.22) then Hoster will create a 256 byte KMH file in the same folder as the original MP3+G or ZIP file without changing the original. These too would be added to the database at that time.
