Not all "pirates" are imitators, or wannabees, some are just as good or better than the "honest" Kj. There are some high dollar wireless systems that do really work and i suspect $2-300 will do the trick.

I think I saw a radio shack one at a guy's gig once, but didn't stay to see the show. He was one of those pro pirates too. I checked radio shack and it was 349 dollars. maybe that one actually worked.
