sounds like your video card maybe going. try updating the drivers from the manufacturers website.
i had a new card go bad in my DVR computer and it wasnt that old. the cooling fan went and i didnt know it and it only shows a black screen when i turn it on. replaced the card and all is good. good luck Bryant
