Hoster wont play backup external HD

I recently copied my Karaoke music from my existing external Hard Drive to another Hard Drive by connecting them both to my laptop at the same time. I opened up both drives click "select all" in the existing Hard Drive and then clicked "copy". I then Clicked in the drive that contained the new Hard Drive and hit paste. It proceeded to copy and when it was done show the files as being identical but with different drive letters. I wanted to see if the new drive was OK but when I tried to play in hoster I received a critcal error message and hoster had to shutdown. When I connected the new drive I clicked on "build data base" and selected the drive the new Hard Drive was on. It said it was successful but when I went to chose a song the error message came up. The only difference I could see is when I compared the two drive extensions the existing one showed "f/hoster files/" while the new one showed 'E/hoster files" there was no backslash on the end of the new extension. If I'm copying the music to my backup Hard Drive wrong could someone please let me know and easier way (the right way). Thanks, micbob
