Do you have a firewall box, or firewall software such as ZoneAlarm or BlackIce? If so, you will need to have them grant the MTU program access to the Internet. This is the usual cause of your reported problem.

Be aware that the computer you install on is the one the program will lock its security to. Only install on the computer you want to run the program on.
