On the play page you would click on USE HARD DRIVE, then click on SELECT FOLDER. You then direct the program to the folder where your files are stored using the drop down box that opens up.

For example if you created a folder called SONGLIST directly on C:, you would click on the arrow in the box that opens, then click on c:, then click on SONGLIST, then click SELECT.

This is generally a one time procedure, as the setting usually remains persistant when you install future upgrades. If for any reason you choose to store different genres of music in different folders(country in one and pops in another, for example) then you'd have to direct Microstudio to the correct folder.

VOGONE and KEYRITE are somewhat different.

On both of them you click on SELECT INPUT FILE, then using the box that opens, you direct the program to where the material you want to work on is stored.

You repeat this process each time you use VOGONE or KEYRITE.

On KARAOKE HOME PRODUCER , when you click on ADD MUSIC, you direct the program to the folder where the music you wish to use is stored, using the box that opens.

Hope this helps get you started.

Thanks for the help, I was able to iliminate the stageing folder, and I now click on SELECT INPUT FILE in Vogone and KHP and C:\Songlist pops up with all the songs in it. THATS GREAT!!!!

But now when I click on SELECT INPUT FILE in Keyrite C:\Songlist is empty.
