You will find companies which are Freeware, Shareware and MUCH smaller than MTU who supports this format so again I think it's a decision based on cost of making the changes with the existing software.

Don't get me wrong, It's ok for MTU to make this call after all they can do what they feel is best for them?

I was answering about .bin files, not mp3.
