error write

I had a problem with my computer when running scan disc and it said i had some bad sectors and fixed them but my microstudio used to open with plextor manager and now opens with aol manager. when i get ready to write a disc it now says write error media disc problem by about the 8 or 9th track and cancels the write program. Can i uninstall the program and reinstall to correct the problem I am sure when the computer moved items from the bad sector things got messed up.
