Well it seems its not overwriting the original Songbook.rtf file.

This normally happens if you have the songbook file open in Word or some other program but then you should get a window pop up asking you to close the other program as soon as you press create.

The songbook.rtf file has nothing to do with rebuilding database, it writes a new one if one does not already exist or overwrites each time you press the create button. It can not overwrite if it is in use by another program.

So if you did not already have it open then something else is wrong.

I suppose if you wanted a by Title version now you would have to delete it again before creating a new one.
