Hoster 5.10 Stopped reading CDs

Hey Guys

Can anyone help me.

I am running Hoster 5.10 on a windows 8 operating system with 16GB RAM.

The system was running perfectly and then suddenly stopped being able to import cdg discs or play singers' disks at shows.

When importing there are no error messages it just does not show track listings.

When importing singers' disks during a show it the following error message is displayed Hoster (header) "The track number you entered was not found on the disc. Enter a valid track number and try again".

It does not accept any track number as valid.

Both the internal cd drive and the external cd drive show as good on the drive test in CD/DVD Drives Defaults. The internal drive is selected as the default drive.

This has happened once before which I repaired by re-installing Hoster. This time un-installing and re-installing has not worked.

I have also double checked the requirements list before re-installing to make sure the system setups were correct.

I am at a loss as to what to try next.

I would be very thankful if anyone knows what to do!

Regards
Albert
