trouble upgrading update

OK here is the latest. I found out what was making Hoster do the hesitating thing that shut down my show Saturday night.

It had nothing whatsoever to do with Hoster or any other software it was a hardware issue with the external hard drive cable connection. Of course a club is way to noisy for me to have noticed it but today when I was trying to duplicate the error and I got it to do it. I had thought for some reason I was overloading the resources by having a music program (Winamp) running in the background and changing songs and searching for another song all at the same time or at least in rapid succession that that was what made Hoster stop responding. It would have been weird if it had been that because up until Saturday I had done all that stuff and it worked fine anyway. But as I said, I noticed when I did get it to do it again my external hard drive was making a funny clicking noise while the wait a minute I am busy circle was going round and round on the screen and Hoster was saying it had stopped responding. Well I unplugged the external hard drive and viola the circle stopped and Hoster began to play the song I had asked for. So I plugged it back in and stopped the song with the stop button then started it again and again it stopped and did the circle thing again this time I just moved the plug end at the computer end of the cord a little bit and viola again it responded immediately and started working fine again. So now I know what shut me down. A simple bad cable on the external hard drive or possibly the socket but I'm just going to get a new cable and see if that corrects the problem for good. Meanwhile I still can't upgrade Hoster because Hoster won't recognize that I paid for a new upgrade yet. How long is it supposed to take? It says on line that it is immediate yet i have been waiting for... well 30 hours now.. including one whole business day. Hmm not what I call customer service. I hope that this helps if anyone esls has this problem. with the external hard drive cable shutting down Hoster that is.
