Radeon Graphics Card Help

I have a gateway 400 series laptop with a ATI Radeon grphics card of some sort, (I know this becasue of the ATI icon that appears in the task bar at the bottom of my screen.) I have used this laptop successfully with Microstudio to slip the screen between my laptop, and a second computer monitor. To make the CDG graphics to show up on the second screen I had to double click on it, then it transfered over. Now for my next critical question, will my laptop I have now work with Hoster? I'd like to use a PC to TV converter to get around the fact that my computer has no S-Video port. Will this work? Anyone else out there doing this? I'd love to test drive the Demo version of Hoster with my computer, however, Hoster does not support my Plextor 48/24/48 drive. Any help anyone might have would be so appreciated. I reading he post in this forum, you guys are great.
