Joe, not ready to give up on this yet.
 Have you tried having your singers screen coming from the USB card, if so are the graphics still scrambled? If they are not is there any reason why you can't have this as your singers screen and the search screen from your extended video card. I suppose you would have to use the converter from the VGA output on the USB card. and have the search screen straight from the VGA out. Or have I got it completely wrong  Roy.
