Cool Edit Screen Too Big

When I try to use the edit song option the screen is too big. It cuts off at about the duet line so I can't get to the apply button to save any changes. I can move the window but can't resize it. I tried the CTL- (zoom) and had no effect. I have other systems with XP home and Windows 7 which work fine.

Dell Inspiron
T6600 2.2 Mhz
Windows XP professional
All updates and drivers current

I have the same issue. I resolve it by increasing the screen resolution when I do an edit session, then lowering it again when I am done. No big deal.

Tried that

1366 x 768 and all other lower ones. Also tried all combinations of aspect ratios. It must have something to do with the Intel Graphic Media Accelerator for Mobile driver. It's driving me nuts.

I think 768 is enough. I'll have to check my Hoster Notebook when I get home. You may have no option but to install some software that gives you a virtural screen size bigger then your physical one, so you can pan up and down. This would make editing slower but at least doable. Another option is to do your editing on a different computer that supports higher resolutions. I have Hoster installed on my Notebook for playing tracks and my desktop for editing tracks. It's just more comfortable for me that way.

Hoster is designed for 1280x768 or 800x600. Try one of those and see.
The 1360x768 gives a distorted view of the windows. You could try 1360x960 which would be more correctly proportioned.

Any resolution I pick changes Hoster across the board. The edit screen still shows about 3/4 of the panel. I have been with hoster since version 1x and never run across this one. Anybody out there running the Intel Graphics 45 HD with the same problem?

Found it! Display size->advanced. DPI size was 120 vs 96 (125%) Fonts are smaller but all is well.. Thanks for your help folks.
