problems with 4.06a with vista
I've read several threads about words and music being out of sync. My problem is all together different. I am having problems with the words playing with no music. It doesn't do it all the time, only at random. And it might not work right on one song this time, i can enter it again and it might play fine. Sometimes i can enter the song and try to play it 3 or 4 times before it plays right. I have tried entering the songs different ways from song id, song search, and singer search using the add song button, to just hitting the enter key. Nothing seams to make a difference. It just does it. I've tried to use my new laptop with vista and 4.06 twice and both times had to stop in the middle of the show and switch to my old laptop with xp. Oh yeah, When it messes up I noticed that the time counter doesn't move either. Any help would be GREAT...

you might have read this before, but have you done all the necessary changes before you installed hoster? a lot of vista users had the out of sync problems due to not doing the recommended changes..and also doing all the custom updates,

If you have the same problem with 3.4 you might need to check for a bad cable or connection.

Also on the next release the installation will ask you to verify that the changes have been made and direct you to a web page with the list of changes.
By the way the list is located here http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/v...de-hoster4.htm in case you missed anything.
