How to import my video CD's

I have always avoided spending the time to learn how to copy and then import my video CD's. I read the info. on video's, but have not achieve the knowledge of this yet.
Does anyone know how to Copy VCD's to my video file, so I can then figure out how to put these type of files in the rotation and in my books?

You can't import into your database yet but you can put them on your hardrive and add them/play them in the playlist via the video tab.

Just copy and paste .dat files from the mpegav folder in the VCD to your hard drive

I just named all mine the bookid number I plan to assign it eventually.
