Hoster 3.316 Zip Errors

I Have been waiting to upgrade to 4.XXX and still am using version 3.316. When I try to
import zip files a lot of them I get error on the import screen. I also get an Error! Bad MP3G zip file. When I unzip the file it will play fine on any player but not on Hoster 3.316. Is the problem in the mp3 RATIO?? I have noticed it varies from song to song.

My real question is will these zip files work on Hoster 4.06? I will upgrade immediatly if they will?

once you upgraded to 4.xxx, any zip files will be converted to kma, i'm not really familiar with zip files, but everytime i opened up hoster i get a msg box box asking me to convert zip file to kma, in your case i guessed you have to convert it..but make sure you "do all the custom updates before upgrading and also do all the necessary changes if you're running vista if you don't hoster might not run right"

Does Hoster 4.06? ask you to convert zip files to KMA or do you go to import tracks and then chose from Import Cd tracks or Import hard drive files? That is what 3.316 does.

yes it wil ask you to convert zip files to kma

Thanks Billyo! I downloaded the 4.06a demo and it does NOT have any problem with the ZIP files. The files that I was getting an error on all work on the newest version. I am going
to get it ordered and installed.

just make sure you do all the custom updates first, and make all the recommended changes if you're running windows vista, or hoster won't run right..

4.06 actually will not just convert them to KMA. When you import them it unzips the file before converting the MP3+G (contained in the zip file) to KMA. As long as It can do this the importing will go fine.
