Where's my kma files gone? Vista related.

Just purchased a new laptop after old faithful finally crashed. It's a Sony Vaio running Windows Vista. Installed all my MTU software, transferred all my kma files over, everything seems great until... I imported about 30 new disks, rebuilt the databases, all the new songs are there and play fine, but when i go to back up my Hoster\Songs directory I can't find any of the new files! I suspect this is Vista related, something to do with security/hiding files. I've also had this problem in Microstudio, where I import song files, the program shows me they are in the Microstudio\Songs folder, but that folder doesn't appear in Windows Explorer.

Try going to where you think they are supposed to be and look for (and press) a "compatability files" button.

Most anytime you can't find something that's where you'll find it.

Hope that's the problem

Maybe we should start a "Vista Hair Club For PC Users"
