Keeping songs on different Drives

Can you have your songs database spread over 2 drives. Meaning can I have 10,000 songs on my Internal amd another 8,000 on an external USB? If so what are the pro and cons to doing it this way as opposed to acessing them all from an external? Also if it is ok to do this over 2 drives what are the steps involved?

Thanks

blizzardboy,
Yes you can keep your songs on multiple drives. In the Rebuild Database and Merge Database windows you list the multiple locations. That way Hoster will look in all of the locations listed to compile the database. I don't know what affect this will have on any of the functions, but should be unnoticible. The only problem I would see is if you have to go to your back-up system for some reason, then you won't be transfering all of the files when you switch the external drive.

Do you mean if my main system crashed (Lap top with part of the songs database on it) crashed?
