My Store Account

I just downloaded and installed the upgrade 3.120 using "My Store Account"

Worked great. No longer do I have to search for the original email to find my personal upgrade link. All the information is right there on that page.

For anyone, not understanding what this is referring to, here is the FAQ that explains how to use this: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-website.htm

This way I will not get alot of emails on how to use it.

It does work very well, once you have used it.

Didn't work for me

On my first attempt to download the 3.120, I had 100 more times left to download. Now I only have 90. For some reason, it just doesn't take. The progress bar gets half way across and stops. I am using Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer and I have completely updated microsoft, but still the same results.
At one point, I right clicked the download and, clicked Save and Replace Previous Version With New Version, and now, I have lost the 3.110 Version.
My Hoster Icon has changed from the normal Icon to white box with a blue border at the top, like this Window's page, only blank. When I try to open it,it says that This is not a Winn 32 application. So I can't open it.
Can someone tell me what I should do? Should I uninstall what I have now and try it again? I was told in a previous thread that I didn't have to uninstall my older version.
Thank you for your time, Jack

Are you using a browser other than Internet Explorer to download?

MTU products are designed to download with Internet Explorer, and other systems(Netscape, etc) can cause the error message you're getting.

I am using Internet Explorer, no other browser.
I did a search on Hoster and it shows that I have the 3.120 version but like I said, after clicking the Icon, it says that Hoster .exe is not a valid Winn32 application. ?????? I don't know if this means anything, but I reinstalled the Hoster Demo and it opens just fine. And it has the normal jukebox, icon.
Thanks George, for all your help. Jack

Do you or your server user a download accellerator program?

If you don't have one installed, then it may be your server.

We know AOL has one installed that has caused download problems.

If that's the case, you may need to contact them and find out how to shut it off.

Bryan,
I just got notified that you posted to the same effect(download accellerators), but I don't see your post here. Something's messing up.

George, I did a search on download accellerator program and there was none to be found. I do have a free trial, AOL for broadband, but it was not activated. I made sure that it was disabled, just to be on the safe side.
I will try to download the 3.120 version again, but I don't think that this is the problem. I'll let you know.
Thanks again, Jack
I did try it again (eleventh try) and the same thing happen.

Thanks anyway, Jack

Dear MTU,

Would it be possible to send me Hoster's new 3.120 version on a disc? I would be more than happy to pay whatever the cost. As you know, I'm a new customer and have not been able to use your Hoster 3.10 that I purchased along with the rack computer that I bought from you because I've had to wait for the 3.120 version that is suppose to accomplish more of what I need to do.
Thanks,Jack
