Try opening TOOLS, then click on CD/DVD DRIVE DEFAULTS and make certain the reading drive is selected.

Hope this helps,

we did that..

crotchrocket and I are friends. I turned him on to the idea of hoster. We went to tools the drive was there. we tried moving usb ports, fire wire, and even the test switch, rebooting, EVERYTHING. One time after flipping the test switch it worked. we turned it off to move the system to another room and when we restarted..it would say No CDROM or device ready. It showed both the drives one as karaoke ready the other not. We were using the correct drive just incase you wanna know. Like I said we did 3 disk, then moved the laptob to another room. I could use the Temp input the cdg button. i tried to lift just one song again said device is not ready make sure cd is in cd rom and try again. What do we do.

Something may have corrupted the ASPI drivers. See if the solution may be here:

Don't worry that it reads Microstudio. I believe support is going to edit that to include Hoster.

If thisdoesn't get it, I don't have the foggiest, and Support may have an answer for you.

Where is Hosters 3.2?

I got the same notification in my email and I went to MTU web site today and did not find 3.2 release. I am also curious what happened. Aug 19th was long overdue.
