Just upgraded-- but think the song db is old version?
Hi--
I attempted to import several disks last night. They did not appear on the list of already loaded titles, artists, disk ID etc. So I left the brand name up (ie Top Hits Monthly Country) I changed the Disc ID # to THMC0409 And clicked "Read cd tracks I get the error message: Too few parameters. Expected 2 (3061) I clicked "yes" on help? Then got " Cannot find the jetter35.hlp file" Then it says I need to reinstall?? If I click "NO" on the first error message it allows me to load the disks by typing in the titles & artists... The save to folder is C:\Hoster Songs\ Ratio 168. It will import the songs -- But When I go to the play list the recently imported disks are not there? (Only one of the songs showed up out of 8 disks imported) Also noted under "Brand Name on play list-- all the songs I had previously loaded before the upgrade are not listed (ie No Sound choices at all) The Book ID numbers start with 33,601??? There are other big gaps in the Book Id numbers (ie: 33,808 jumps to 33,901 and 34,109 jumps to 34,201, etc.) I tried to go through the Build Songs Database as well and it crashes the program... I checked the forum-- saw another member getting that error for some other reason and the response was to check the bucket.mdb file size. Mine is 19,008. I left a message there but am thinking it is lost somewhere as it likely did not really "belong there". No responses yet-- so I kept loading the disks by hitting "No"... 8 or so disks later... Here I am... Thanks! |

Re: Just upgraded-- but think the song db is old version?
This is because you need to Delete your Database and Run the Upgrade of Hoster, as stated in your other post. Do this and this will be fixed.

Re: Just upgraded-- but think the song db is old version?
There was a post by Bryan/MTU on another string... I did not wait long enough to build the database as I thought it was timing out and crashing... I must have waited long enough now--as the soundchoice have "reappeared"!
Sorry for my "Duh" --Thanks Bryan! I still have large gaps in the Book Id Numbers though... I think it may choose the first few numbers as the disk and then adds the tracks on the last 2... Hmmmmmmmm It makes the numbers are pretty high (long)... Should I be concerned about that? Will I be able to fill them in with other disks later if the number of tracks permits? |
