How to use dual screen on laptop
Hey everyone,
I just talked a friend into switching to hoster for his laptop. I use hoster and love it and wanted to share the experience. However when I went to one of his shows i felt so bad cause he has it set up so you can see what he is doing on the tv screen and he doesn't like that. I use a regular computer so the configuration wasn't a problem, but on a laptop I couldn't figure out how to show his desktop back ground on the second display. Can you please help me so I can help him. Thanks ![]()

Re: How to use dual screen on laptop
Assuming he has a dual display video card, it sounds like he is set up in CLONE mode and not EXTENDED DESKTOP mode like it should be.
1-The second monitor/tv must be connected to the p.c and turned on when this change is made. 2-Right click anywhere on a blank spot on the pc desktop. 3-click on PROPERTIES. 4-Click on SETTINGS. Two monitors should be showing, #1 the pc monitor(highlighted), and #2 monitor. 5-click on the #2 monitor 6-check the block on the page that says "Extend Mt Windows Desktop To This Monitor" 7-Click Apply. Hope this helps him. George |

Re: How to use dual screen on laptop
It is the same to change it as it would be on a Desktop. If the laptop doesn't support the Dual Display, then it won't work. George has posted above how to change this on either.
