When you say new software, are you referring to Hoster? Can you be more specific in describing your problem? By your post, I am assuming that you are trying to import karaoke files from your hard drive. What do you mean by HD files? Sorry, but I need more info to provide help.

Can you attach a screenshot of your index song files screen showing the files listed and the define field order.
I attach a screenshot from my own computer, if you can attach one showing the same details it may help us.

Re: Hoster 5.34.01 import problem

I am having the same problem with the "Define Field Order". I want JUST the Title - Artist. But the outcome is Title = Disk Brand & Track, the Artist = Title & Artist no matter which one I choose. This was never like this in previous versions. It needs to be fixed or go back to a previous version so that all the files will look the same.

I have spent years deleting and reorganizing so that when I search for a file that they all have the same fields. This has gotten very frustrating as I have tried every Define Field Order and they all are NOT right. At least NOT right as previous versions and as suggested.

Great, I was just preparing my answer for you but you beat me to it

One thing I would like to mention that you can do with later versions is in the edit dialog there is an option to swap Title And Artist and this can also be done in the multiple view too.

Just thought I would mention this as if you make a mistake in your importing define field order this is an easy way to swap those two fields.

The only things you can't edit are Book Id & Disc Id so if you make a mistake with them then you have to re-import.
