Re: Hoster prior

Do you have a Hosterprior icon showing on your desktop ?
If not, did you have a previous version installed on this computer ?

If yes, when you start it and open Help/About Hoster, what version does it show ?

If they both show 5.07, did you install 5.07 more than once ?
If you did then that is why they are both showing as 5.07 because that is what you had installed before you re-installed.

Re: Hoster prior

You must have answered this while I was editing the previous reply.
Did you have another version on this computer before installing the 5.07 upgrade.

Re: Hoster prior

Yes that is very strange, When you installed the upgrade, did you choose the Remove option first or tick the box to upgrade ?
If you chose to remove first that could be why.
If you chose upgrade have a look in your Micro Technology Unlimited/Hoster folder which is in C:/ Program Files (86) folder and see if there is a "HosterPrior.exe in there. If there is create a short cut from that and see what happens.

Re: Hoster prior

I have a question on the Hoster Prior Icon...

How long do you need to keep this Icon?

Is it a permanent thing?

You don't have to keep it, just delete the short cut on the desktop if you don't want it.
I actually answered similar, read post 32 & 33 in this thread: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?...erPrior&page=2
