I Have Sinned...

I made a bonehead mistake. I found that my KMA files were in three different files in my HD. Yep you guessed it, I moved them into one file. Ouch! I bet I don't do that agian. So now I don't have a songbook anymore. Is there any hope, or do I have to import all my files agian...

Should be able to just rebuild the database with Hoster pointing at that folder containing all the kma files. Your books might possibly need to be reprinted.

Re: I Have Sinned...

You will need to delete the Songs.mdb file in C:\MTU\Hoster. Since all those files were in the database in the 3 different folders. Change the setting in Import Songs/Build Database to only show that one folder before you close Hoster and delete the file. Then when you re-open Hoster it should automatically start rebuilding the database and will only use that folder to build with.

Thanks guys that's a relief. Here's the dumb question, how do I change the songs.mdb from my C: Drive to my G:, Via Hoster or Via My Computer?

Re: I Have Sinned...

The songs.mdb always remains in the C/MTU/Hoster Folder, that is fixed by Hoster and can't be changed. You only move the song files and change their address in the list of folders shown in the Build songs Database by using the Add Folders button.
Before adding the new locations remove the old locations by
highlighting the existing folders shown in your C/ drive that you no longer want and use the "Remove Folder" button to remove those from the database. Then use the Add folders button to add the new location.
This should reset everything in the songs.mbd

If not close Hoster, delete your songs.mdb then restart Hoster and don't panic that it doesn't start right away, it will rebuild the songs.mdb and show a small dialog while doing so, Hoster will open when finished and it should not alter your song book.
