Re: importing gem files

If you are trying to import files with a .gem extension then Hoster doesn't recognize them.

Re: importing gem files

I thought these were supposed to be MP3+G files? The Gem series is Sound Choices latest attempt for sales, but they are supposed to be in MP3+G format.

Re: importing gem files

If the extension after the file name is .gem it wont reconise them, they are supposed to be in .mp3+g. format.
If they have got two files for each song one mp3 and one .cdg then you can import them by selecting mp3+g in the import dialog.

Re: importing gem files

Thats not what I was asking. What are the file names and extensions of the files on one disc? I don't own this set so don't know what we are looking at.
According to Sound Choice there are supposed to be 30 MP3+G songs on each disc. That tells me there should be 60 files on a disc, 30 MP3 and 30 CDG files. If that is not what you see in Windows Explorer then this is going to be a problem and not just for Hoster.

Re: importing gem files

Now back to the original question.
Are you saying that no files show up in the Import from Hard Drive screen?

Which version of Hoster?

Re: importing gem files

Your KMA files will be fine. Just use the setup program to "Remove" then the next time Install. None of your settings or files will be lost.
