importing itunes karaoke mpa files

hi all,

i've scoured the forum but haven't found info re: importing itunes karaoke files. i purchased a single file in mpa format and have since experimented with converting it to mp3 to import into hoster.

so far, no joy. successfully plays music but not lyrics.

i'm not even sure if this format is intended to play lyrics. anyone have experience with this?

No it doesn't have the lyrics and Hoster does not support it even for audio.

i've been dealing ( buying ) itunes music for years, ( 7,565 tunes to date so far ) and itunes karaoke are just audio, you actually have to type in the lyrics..

you can actually download itunes karaoke ( $2.00 ea. )music and graphics but it will only play on i-phones. and that you also have to buy the apps.

Billy have you converted any of them from MPA to MP3 to use in Hoster? Reason I ask is you could use KHPro to then add the lyrics/graphics to them and make them into MP3+G. Thus creating your own karaoke songs.

Dale, i never bought itunes karaoke, the music i'm talking about are the top 40 dance music..i don't buy/download any karaoke on line. i always buy original disc..but thaks for the suggestions..
