System Information
I am getting a message that I cannot reinstall on original laptop. Got a bad virus that had caused me to have to completly restore to original new configuration. All recomended changes have been made.

Support ticket has been submitted for emergecy

I have sent in an emercency request because of total meltdown due to a nasty virus and restored to original new configuration. Now I cannot reinstall hoster. Any help? I have a show tonight and need to get this resolved as soon as possible. Thanks

Give us some more info...
What version of Hoster are you running?
If it is not Hoser Lite... then you should be able to load it on 2 different computers. What is it telling you in the message, as to why you can't reload the Hoster program?

I imagine that the office at MTU is maybe on holiday also... try the phone number in the support section and see if anybody answers... they may be your only out, if you have done everything else!

I moved this to a new thread since it has nothing to do with the thread you attached it to.

By having to restore/reload your computer then MTU's registration process sees this as a new computer and not the same computer. Therefore you will have to submit a Support Ticket to get your registration code reset to allow you to install it again.
I will tell you that the earliest MTU will see the ticket will be Monday as they are not in the office today for the 4th of July Holiday. MTU does not have 24/7 support.
By the way all recommended changes would include having done all the Custom updates (minus the Hardware ones) from Microsoft which would include Service Pack 3.

I am afraid you are going to have to cancel your show or find another way to do it (CDs and Player?) because the offices are closed for the holiday and they will not be back until Monday.
It does not help to post your problem in multiple threads. If your problem is not exactly like that in the thread or in this case is totally unique you need to start your own thread. If you bury your posts in someone elses thread it may get over-looked where a new thread would stand out and draw attention to it.
