You can always go back to 4.06 (just make sure you keep the original file safe) and it's a free upgrade so what have you got to lose ?

Hey Rob,
The only feature that 4.06 has that 4.08 doesn't have is the ability to see the video in the preview screen when you use the "New Player". The "New Player" was removed because it was causing problems for a percentage of the users. I don't run video's in my show so this feature is not missed by me but some users have posted that they would miss it.

There is and issue in 4.06 where the Singer Database refreshes too much, This plus a list of other issues were fixed in 4.07 which led to 4.08.

Both 4.08 & 4.06 run rock solid for me so I feel confident recommending either one. Like Roy said, the upgrade is free. You can always go back to 4.06. (Be sure you keep a copy of the 4.06 install program.)

Jim

I am having problems with 4.08- my computer was purchased throught MTU so it should be able to run the program- I have had issues since I purchased it Jan 08. I noticed that my 3.14 hoster copy just disappeared- I have also lost a lot of files- I was able to recover them after buying another software- I am surprised that I am having so many problems- I thought if I purchased the ruggedized computer already loaded what could go wrong? I have spent a lot of money and I am struggling right now to fiquire out what the problem is- graphics, music are out of sinc- my cpu is running at 100% with only (2) programs running- I only have 7200 kma- and about 2000 audio files-help!

I have answered your post in your previous thread. Please keep your posts about your problem to the one thread to avoid confusion.
