Hoster now comes with the Option of using either the Old or New player. The "New" player is for people who requested being able to see the video in the Preview Display. For others (like me) being able to use the MUX functions are more important. The "Old" player plays VCDs automatically without vocals & all MUX functions work, but you won't see anything in the Preview Display.
So....... now, we ALL have a choice!

Billy are you meaning the Singer's name instead of Artist? If so this is control through the Lyrics screen SND settings. What ever you have it set to for the Lyrics screen (for regular CDGs) is going to be the same setting for the Video screen.

Hey Billy,
Let me ask you this, is the artist name in the tile of you VCD files? If so, this is probobly why you are seing the artist name in the Singer Name Displays on the Preview Screen (computer) and the Show Display (TV).

Jim

Not yet. Instead of putting the artists name in the singer's just type in their name if someone is singing it or yours if these are not being sung by anyone. If you want the SND to show on the lyrics screen then it is going to also show on the Video screen. There is no way around this.

i'm sorry i didn't explain it right, it was my mistake when i first renamed the file, when i typed in a title it will come up with the artist name included with just the dash (-) separating the 2 ( song-artist ), but that ok.not a big deal..i just thought there would be a way to re-import it..thanks

You can also "HIDE" the SND while Videos are playing in the VideoView tab, and still have the SND show in the "LyricsView" by unchecking"Hide". That's what I do, when I play videos that no one is singing.
I type the word "BREAK" for the Singer's Name when playing videos that no one else is singing.

You can also have the SND without showing the Song Title at all (I didn't realize this at first, until someone pointed it out to me.)
