Yes, but the scrolling message would not come on and my intermisiion screen would not appear between each song, but then again I could set my Logo on the desktop so when each song end it will show my logo. This is my current set up so I could show my business logo on computer deskstop and on the tv screen between songs or when I'm using audio tab. I could use both set-up, just not the same time. Either I forgo the scrolling mesage or have 4.0 screen on and off right away.

Dale,

Guess what? I changed my graphic card to radeon HD 3650 with 512 mb DDR2 PCI-express 16 (from NVIDIA GeoForce 7300GS with 256mb) and the result is, rendition of the video and audio especially at the beginning of the songs are smooth. No more distorted Audio and Video, The timing were perfect. No more video/lyric lagging the audio. I guess the rendition codes causes some graphic card to process it differently causing a delay in initaion of second display (singer screen), causing distorted audio (static noise) and distorted video in the beginning of every songs and resulting out of synch problem. The Radeon 3650 really process the initiation of the second display really fast. It doesn't show it on hoster 3.4 and another karaoke software and dvd player software I have, so it must be on 4.0, it's how 4.0 initiate the second monitor(TV). Or maybe just Nvidia Geoforce 7300 GS graphic card only. I have 2 and tried both and the result were the same, distorted video and audio at the beginning of the songs causing out of synch in audio and video.

I'm still waiting for the MUX button to be operational. I needed that function because most of the songs I play during show are vcd. Hope this will be included in 4.02. Really need this bad, I hope the vocal/no vocal button will function as if you click it once it will remove the right(vocal), and click it again will remove the left(vocal) because I have some vcd that the vocal is on left channel but most on right channel (or the other way around).

Waiting for the upgrade with the mux operational... on 4.0XX.

It may very well have been the nVidea 7300 card, as I know this card is a NOT recommended one in a DJ program I use for videos. It simply doesn't play videos on a high end laptop, but a lower end video card on a lower end laptop does better. I can't say for sure about Hoster 4.02, but that card can be unreliable as it applies to videos.

I tried 4.02 and seems to be working fine. Only one problem noticed but could not duplicate it is cueing take some time ( 1 occassion only). I'd like to tried 4.02 longer during practice but could not use it because of MUX button not operational on Video (mpeg). This is the only feature I need so I culd use (try) 4.02 100%. I also installed 4.02 on my laptop with vista and seems to run smoother. Did not notice any lagging and video rendering is smoother.
