Question release notice

Mtu use to notify hoster users when a new release was issued. I
checked your site today and found i was two releases behind.
Are You no longer notifying via email????
I've never had a problem with hoster that wasn't my own fault
and i use it 4-5 nights a week, every week.

Re: release notice

A release was just put out last night. They were going to send the Mass email out to clients today to come and get it.

Only Major upgrades are sent as an email to clients.

Re: release notice

hey david (king)

how about a sticky in this forum that stays at the top and lists the latest version of hoster ??? but make sure it stays at the top of the list.

then we may get more members or visitors checking in to make sure they are up to date with hoster.

Re: release notice

Just my personal opinion but...

I think there are more than enough sticky's now as it is. It takes a lot of scrolling as it is to get to the new posts, hate to see that lengthened unneccesarily

Before going to the forums, my first stop is usually MTU.com .Right there it tells me the current release, of course that's just the stop off point on my way to the news page to see what new stuff is in the works.

Admittedly my opinion might be colored by the fact I check in often and by my aversion to sticky's.

Smile Re: release notice

I guess one can get so used to the support that MTU is known for.
I didn't mean the post as a complaint, I just didn't know. Sometimes
one doesn't have the time to check the site for upgrades, although
from now on i will make the time.
This is still the best product out there by a mile. I Have read of
various problems others have had, but i haven't experienced a single
one.
thanks mtu

Re: release notice

i dont visit MTU.com that often. i am here alot, and i check in more than a dozen times per day to try and help others. i dont usually ask questions, just answer them for others.

thats why i thought a sticky on top listing the latest version of hoster would be good.

Thanks Bryan for putting the sticky at the top of the list !
