You can center your own text with KHPro:

KHPro automatically deletes leading space [spcbar] from the lines of text so adding a bunch of spaces obviously doesn't work.

However, in typographer's terms, there is a character in all fonts that doesn't have any "color" and it's referred to as an "Em" space (or a "hard" space). It is the same width as an uppercase letter "M". To access this character, hold down the [alt] key and enter: 0160 This is the character code for an em space.

Begin your text line with with [alt]+[0160] (you won't see a character, but the cursor will move one em space.) Add as many of these as you need to center the text in the edit window and you're ready to go.

Since the character contains no color, it is invisible to the sweep bar and will be skipped ready to highlight the next word.

You can also use the em space to "offset" words or lines from the preceeding lines of text.

If you find this useful, let me know. There is also a way to turn the sweep bar on and off at will, but time and space (no pun intended) are at a premium. I have made an ongoing notepad text file of these tips & tricks for my own use, if you'd like a copy just email me.

Re: Centering

Great tip!

Use the character map to copy this "character" onto the clipboard:

Open "Arial Narrow"
look for the empty square (lower left corner)
double click it
hit "Copy" button

All you need to do in KHP is hit CTL+V to paste it in! You can re-do CTL+V any time to place multiple "em spaces" into
your song file!

Again, great tip!
