Changing Font Size For Singers Database...

I read somewhere that in Hoster 5.x that you can resize the Singers Databace font (DPI). I can't figure out how to do this.

Can someone enlighten me please?

I read somewhere on the forum on how to use the magnifier. It's cute but not practical for me. Now I can't get it to turn off. Everytime I boot up, I have to exit out of it!

On another Note: Does anyone know how to stop Dell Datasafe from popping up? It causes my music to studder when it happens and is very irritating. It happens practically every show.

You can stop the magnifier keep loading on boot by:
Using classic view in Control Panel/Ease of Access Center/Make Computer easier to see/ then uncheck box for Turn on magnifier Press Apply.

If its pinned to your start menu or the task bar Right click it and select remove.

As to data safe, I exspect Dale will know this as he is familier with Dell.

None of the Dell's I have bought (been a few years since I have) had Datasafe. My guess would be to uninstall it from the computer.

As far as changing the font size in the Singers Database, that isn't possible. What can be changed is the fonts and colors for the Singers Name Display.

Re: Changing Font Size For Singers Database...

Dale,

Thanks, I've uninstalled DellDataSafe Online. I'll now see how that works out. It wouldn't let me uninstall the Local DataSafe.

I swear it seems to me I remember something about changing the DPI to get the font larger in the Singer's Database.

Anyway, I looked at how to change the colors, but only saw one place to change the color and that changes all the background colors.

When I downloaded Hoster 5.0, it had a black backgound. I quickly changed that!

Again, Thanks...

Re: Changing Font Size For Singers Database...

You can change the DPI in Windows, Trouble is it makes All screens bigger even the Icons on your desk top, if you want to try it click Control Panel/Display and you should see two radio buttons choose the larger one 125% or you can click in the left panel for custom settings.
Just choose 100% to return settings back if you don't like it.
Bye the way, I like the black background.

Re: Changing Font Size For Singers Database...

Roy,

Thanks! I was afraid that was what was meant by changing the DPI. Oh well, we can dream, can't we...

As for the colors, I tried several and none appealed to me. I went back to the white!

Anyway, to each his own... lol
