help-I Can't select more than 1 song to list

HELP! I don't know why but I am unable to select more than 1 mp3g or a mp3 to list to play. I have to select each 1 independently. I remember version 3.0 I could select more than 1 but it took so much time to response and list them in the play window. I am using the 3.310 and I don't remember it that happened in the ealier versions. I have the program on my laptop and on the PC and both act the same. Is this a bug or is it me and if it's me can this be fixed? Thanks
