Can Hybrid CD+G Format Discs import into Hoster? - YES

I buy CD+g's from Karaoke Warehouse and one of the formats they talk aobut is a new Hybrid cd+g . Not for sure what that format really is but was wondering if you are aware of it and does Holster support that format. I am on the current release level of Holster. Here is the text from their web site: The Hybrid CD+G format means that these discs can be played in a personal computer (using Windows Media Player™) as well as your Karaoke player

If it will play on a Karaoke Player then you should be able to import them into Hoster as well. I don't know if MTU has heard of it but I hadn't until you brought it up. From what little information they give it looks like it may be an MP3+G (or MPG) format that can be used by Media Player and regular CD Players as well.

Smile Reply : Format question answered

OK, here is the story giving. The Hybrid CD+G are as far as Holster is concerned nothing more then standard CD+G's and will import just fine as KMA files in Holster. The Hybrid difference is that they are including a Windows Media Data file to allow the disk to be played in your computer via Windows Media Player. So, no problem per the Vendor of the format. Good to know I guess.

Thanks to all that replied.

Thanks for digging up this info. It will help others who have the same question.

BTW: Its HOSTER, not HOLSTER.
