Singers Monitor does not work

Hi I have looked through FAQ for my problem but I cannot find a resolution. I have only just setup up Hoster on my laptop and have a TV monitor for the singers. When I boot up the laptop I get the screen save on the remote TV. I cannot get a singer's screen when I start Hoster. It remain as the Screen Saver screen. Help please!

Could you post what kind of computer and what video card you have. This would help.

You may not be in EXTENDED DESKTOP.

Assuming you have a DUAL DISPLAY video card, and not simply a DUAL OUTPUT card:

1-Have the remote t.v.(or monitor) hookeed up and turned on.

2-Righrt click anywhere on a blank spot on the pc desktop.

3-Click PROPRTIES.

4-Click on the NUMBER 2 MONITOR.

5-Click the box EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP ONTO THIS MONITOR.

6-Click APPLY, then OK.

You should now see your pc desktop, minus any toolbars, shortcuts, etc. on the remote unit.

Hi All, Thanks for your replies. I am using a Toshiba M50 laptop with an ATI video card that supports dual screen. I am receiving my laptop screen saver on the singers TV but when I start up Hoster and play a karaoke disk the screen saver remains on the singers TV.
I have tried the solution that George offered and tha is where I have the screensaver without toolbars, shortcuts etc.I am in extended desktop
My computer details are as follows:
Toshiba M50 laptop,
Video ATI Radeon xpress 200M
Could it have something to do with Hoster?

Does the Singer's Window shows up on the laptop when you play a song? If so double click on it and it should jump over to the TV monitor in full screen.

Drag the Singers window over to the TV. Then resize it. I had another guy the other day with this same ATI 200m chip, that had this problem. It is some driver setting in the 200m chipset that is not allowing you to double click on it for it to go full screen.

You can drag it to the monitor, by making sure it is not full screen on the computer screen. Then left click the singers window, and drag it to the Right until it gets onto the TV. Then once it is on the TV resize it by dragging out the corners to fill the entire monitor.

You can also try getting the very latest video drivers for this ATI chip from Toshiba or ATI.
