ADMIN: mother board went bad

I am replaceing my motherboard. I have 2 pcs (2 back up pcs) and 2 copies of hoster. I am not sure which copy I had on the machine becasue I thought the HD was going bad and reformatted it without thinking. Im stupid. So how do I know which copy of hoster to re install and how to I get it released?
