Search not finding Hoster Songs

I have 3 Karaoke shows. I have 1 laptop with an external hard drive, the other shows are regular PC's. the laptop has the problem of not finding all the songs in the search. I can go to a song in the upper part of Hoster by searching by brand and the disc and song shows up and will play but it will not show when i type in the song name or artist in the search. I have rebuilt the songs and merged kma's and nothing is working. Anyone got any ideas????

Search not finding all songs

Beavis
I may not have been specific enough, when I type in Gretchen Wilson it will show some but not all of the songs, I can go to the brand name and pull up the songs and they are there under the brand name and will play properly. I have not changed any settings on the computer or program. The same happens with SHeDaisy. I am not sure what has happened, the Drive name is correct because it pulls up songs and all the songs are in the external hard drive. thanks for the quick reply just not sure what has changed.

If the song is titled "wilson, gretchen" it will look for it in that order alphabetically. The exact spelling and sequence of letters and words are crucial in the search.

Type in wilson, g and see what you get.

search not finding song

Thanks but even it i type gretchen or wilson it does not bring up the song, and when i type the exact song name or a portion of it it does not bring up the song but when i go to the brand disk, this one happens to be ASK1535(All Star Karaoke) it was the only one at the time that had Holdin' You, it comes up and plays. all of my other computers(desktops) work properly and will bring up all the songs, That is what is perplexing me. The laptop is a back up system that I take when I play away from town so that if something happens to the main system I can have the show back up and running in a short time. Also if i click the disc# box it is not recognizing the ASK1535 and yet I have gone in the external hard drive and they are there under that name. I have rebuilt the song database several times and merged KMA's incase it was a duplicate #. I hope that I have provided enough into to explain the problem. again Thanks Guys for any help
