Last track of my CDG not displayed

I recently purchased numerous Sound Choice CDGs and started importing the Foundation collection. SC7501-SC7510 imported without incident but SC7511 won't display the last track. I have a Plextor PX-716UF using a firewire interface with the latest firmware 1.09. Any suggestions? I will update this thread with other track problems as I import other SC CDGs that I purchased which include Foundation, Foundation2, Brick 1-4, Brickette 5R, and 24 Spotlight CDGs.

Hoster

I truly LOVE this product and am so GLAD I did not upgrade to the latest. Why are they adding so much JUNK without adding what they told me was coming SOON!!! And that was a really BIG selling point to me. The competition has it. I REALLY want to avoid handling the paper and well a singers database would help me out alot. But have the ability to say yes this is a regular customer and save his song or NO he is not and not save his song! I sure don't know where the PROMIsE went but well tii I see what I want I am HAPPY with where I am...

HAVE FUNNNN!!! With all the new goodies and or problems!!!!

Alan

Yes, it is a multisession disc. Apparently, all current Sound Choice CDGs are.

I haven't run into any other Sound Choice CDGs that I couldn't import so far. I'm still in the process. I finished Foundation and am in the middle of Foundation 2.

I already don't have the Software Decoding checkbox unchecked. I read up on what drives to use for hardware decoding and specifically bought the Plextor for that reason.

I am running the current version of Hoster, 3.303.

I got the free Audiograbber program and used that to successfully create a BIN file which I then imported into Hoster without any problem. Audiograbber apparently supports CD+G discs now. Since I found a workaround, this is less important to me but more important to MTU since it couldn't be the disc otherwise another program wouldn't have imported it. I have my karaoke track imported. I hope that MTU can fix the problem though. It would be a pain to have to take that extra step everytime I run into the problem. Thank goodness I haven't seen it on any other discs yet.

I'm still waiting for you to post what Hoster version number you are running. We did a major overhaul of importing a Multisession "last track" in 3.303. If you're not running that verison, you should upgrade to it to solve this problem.

We have been working on "software decode" for quite a while now. Our current code does a superior job of importing the graphic quality than some other programs. We are now working on a total overhaul that should make our code equal or superior to anything out there. We'll see when it releases.

When you ask? When you see it announced. We ARE now on the code daily.

Kevin,
If the Firmware update didn't work, then you will have to replace the drive in the laptop or get an external Plextor to fix this.

Kevin,
What version of Hoster?

And what make and model of drive?

Until you answer these questions everyone trying to help you is just shooting in the dark.

And as of today a new upgrade for Hoster is available which supports more drives, so my first suggestion is to upgrade Hoster and try again.
