Can't build a database

I am running Hoster version 2.215 # 2 on Windows XP home edition with service pack 1. I try to do a build songs database and I choose the correct location. I then get a message database build was successful. Then I get a message Field “songs.genre” can’t be a zero length string. (3315) would you like to seek help? I choose yes and I get a message The AllowZerolength property for this field is set to False, prohibiting the entry of a zero length string in the field/ Enter a different values in the field.

chemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />It was running fine until I tried to use an external hard drive for the new location of the songs.

Now when I search I can't bring up any songs at all.

before you upgrade, make sure you have all windows updates.

im not sure if it matters if you have sp2 installed or not to upgrade. MTUSUPPORT will have to answer that one.

im sure it wont hurt.

As Beavis stated, Update to the latest version. It will cost you $19.95, but it is well worth the price.

Starting

Hi MTU:

I'm starting by getting Service pack 2. Now I have to delete a buch of karaoke songs from my internal hard drive to make room for SP2 and for the upgrade.
