Arrow still having problems

Bryan... I got your email about the registration number being bad. I retried installing Hoster with the reg number you sent me, and it still tells me that the floppy doesn't match the number of the hoster program. I'm getting near wit's end with this problem. Surely there's something I can do to get my laptop running. I need it bad!
Thanks... corson

I'm embarrassed

I really fill silly asking this question, but MTU tells me that they do not send manuels with the computers that they sell, that I can get the manuel from help in the Hoster progam, that only gives information pertaining to Hoster and I don't know how to hook up my computer to my mixing board. This unit does not have av\rca jacks, that I'm familiar with and I was told by Radio Shack that there is no adapter available. How do you get your audio from your computers to your amplifiers?

You need a cable to run from your sound card out to one of the channels on your mixer. If you mixer is stereo the there is an adapter at Radio Shack that has one male plug on one end and 2 female plugs on the other. I don't recall what it's called. Just tell them your trying to run from a computer sound card to a mixer and they will fix you up.

From the mixer you would run to the amp, assuming you don't have a powered mixer.

And what does everything from post #3 on down have to do with the original post by CORSON?

Should have been a new thread.

A possible cause can be typing in the reg. code. To avoid errors, use copy/paste to enter the reg. code in.

PS

All you need is a small like headphone jack for your soundcard in the back of your comp., usually the green one. the other end is RCA straight into your amp./mixer. Thats all i do!
They sell them at radio shack

Wink bingo

Okay, I have my problem resolved. My bad, or I guess I should say, my stupidity, I didn't realize that when you were telling me to drag the singer's names, window across the screen to the other monitor, that I could actually do just that. I thought that you must be talking about dragging it to the KJ's window.
Anyway, thank you all for your kind help and patience.
My best regards go out to all of you, Jack
