Cool HDMP3G & CDCDG

When I convert MP3gs to KMA and put them with the other KMAs the Extension
in the data base namely TYPE (at the end) is HDMP3G when you rebuild, it changes it to CDCDG which is gives a error message when played if I changed
the file name and dont rebuild its works fine I did not have this problem with
3.108 which had CDCDGs and HDMP3G in the same data and could rebuild
maybe Ive done some different this time any ideas thanks a Bunch
Its not a train crash but I would like to know
John

This is a bug that is in the software. The beta testers have just found this over the weekend. The engineer should be working to fix this in the coming days, and then when Hoster 3.200 is stable enough to be released this will be in the new version.

As for right now, there is no way to fix this currently.

Talking Thank God U Found The Bug!

Thanks to God you guys found the bug. I have been having this problem from since I bought Hoster in January 2005. I thought it was something with my pc. I uninstalled and installed many times. So I waited for the latest update but when I installed it, I had the same problems with files that I edited. They wouldn't play. I was so frustrated that I just reformatted my computer and took my time doing so, not to find that the problem was still there. I was so pissed off that I couldn't figure out what was the problem. Anyway I just got the email from MTU today about the two critical bugs found on Hoster. What a bloody relief. Anyway phew! one question for the moderator. With Hoster 3.2, All my songs that I have edited and will not play because of the bug will now play well with the upgrade?
Can't wait til Friday. Thanks guys.

If you've had this problem since January, you must have a completely different problem because it was April when importing from HD became possible, and those are the only files affected.

As I was one of the first to find this bug it was to late to do anything, books
printed etc cannot reload because numbers change, about 1300 song where damaged by the song edit, all i do to fix the problem is copy and paste the correct HDMP3G into the data base ,is there a way you could correct the files in a hex edit programme or even write a small progamme to fix the line
in Hex as you know how the structure is made up just a idea Thanks
