![]() can someone explain this new feature in the build song data base part of the program
after i downloaded the new version of hoster i ran the build song database command and got the window saying ther were 5 duplicate book id's i don't understand this because i searched for a couple of these files it had listed and they are in the hoster song folder as a kma file but there is no duplicate of the file there is just the one file. Before i ran the build song database i could play these files and they were listed now the kma file is still in the folder but it will not rebuild it into the database how do i fix this do i have to re-import the kma file again even though it is already there since it is saying it has a duplicate book ID? ![]() |

Re: Dupilcate Book ID's Found
Re-Import the 5 KMAs.
I believe this function has, in this case, found bad KMAs, even though, it was marked as Duplicate BookIDs. Not "BAD" in the true meaning of the word, although they could be, but "BAD" meaning that Hoster's Build Songs Feature is having a problem reading the HEADER information. I ran into the same problem. I re-imported what was listed, rebuilt the database, and all was well. Hope this helps, Norm |
