Oops, I goofed!

I made a mistake while loading a disc. I gave a disc the wrong ID#. When I realized this I went into the destination file and deleted the kma files and re-imported the disc using the right disc ID#. Is there anything else I need to do? I have imported about 6000 songs so far and have another 7000 to go, so I have not created the song book yet.

Re: Oops, I goofed!

Whenever you need to delete all files for a Brand or BookID, you should do this using the Tools menu Edit Song command. There is a delete "multiple" KMA files in the Select Multiple tab.

When you do it this way, the Songs Database is automatically updated for you.

By deleting the files directly from the hard drive using Windows Explorer, you now need to go to the Tools menu, and run the Build Songs Database command at the bottom. This will remove the files you deleted from the Songs Database.

I trust you will realize the Edit Songs command is far safer and easier to use in the future.

Re: Oops, I goofed!

Yes I realize that now! I didn't know that function existed. I am still learning my way around the software. Thanks.
