Unhappy Help!!

I have a Sony DRU-710A DVD-RW/CD-RW. But the Microstudio is not recognizing this unit. I went through the drive test but that didn't work because the program still didn't recognize the drive. This is the 2nd drive I have purchased the first was just a CD-RW. Do I have to get your driver for your program to work?

Many fine drives do not handle cdg which is essence of Karaoke discs. Although MTU guarantees the drives that they sell, you don't have to patronize only them. You can find others that will work. The site is full of explanations of this type. This is not something being kept secret so that people will unwisely buy the software.

I don't know the compatibility of your drive. I hope that you can exchange it or whatever so that things will work out for you.

Good Luck.

Re: Help!!

Here's the specification page for that burner from the Sony Website. No mention of CDG. Does support VCD, but not CDG.
