Besides Plextor?

Ok I need help if anyone can. All my local stores are out of plextor burners. Does anyone here use or have another brand that seems to work fine. I need it for a show tonight. It's saturday the 13th.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Besides Plextor?

Do a Google for CD+G burners on the internet You will find some sites that list what they think are valid CD+G burners, buyer beware . When you have more time buy one from MTU, their burners are certified.

Re: Besides Plextor?

Most any burner which supports RAW 96 DAO will work ...

I have an HP desktop that came with an ASUS burner, plus I installed a second LG burner and both work fine...

Re: Besides Plextor?

I did a little research and came up with a competitive site that lists a range of drives and also lists if they are CD+G compatible.

It leaves some out, but it's a good starting refference.

Re: Besides Plextor?

This list doesn't seem correct to me, as it lists the Plextor PX-504A model, which on Plextor's site, this drive doesn't support CD+G in there specs. I know for a fact that this drive will not work also, as we tried it.

The Only brand that will work correctly with any of our software for CD+G are the Plextor drives, other than the 504 model listed above, most other drives will NOT work.
